Nicola Daniele de Chirico was born
in Terlizzi, Italy, on
March 1983. He received the MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2010.
He spent 1 year at Centro Ricerche Fiat of Orbassano for his final
project studying a new methodology for non linear and lumped FEM
modeling of elastomers for automotive purpose with specific care to
contact problems.
After the degree, he’s been working about mechanical design and FEM
analysis for the research “Static and dynamic analysis of mechanical
and electrical parts of an auxiliary cruise generator for aircrafts”
supervised by Prof. Giuseppe P. Demelio.
His main research interests regards modeling and simulating new
architectures for electrical engines with composite materials in
innovative configurations and related technology problems.
